I have visited some sellers’ pages online selling SquishMallows plushies. The sellers put in the title and description in the page info that the particular SquishMallow is “RARE!” and limited! . . .
Special Seals for Rare SquishMallows on Hangtags
. . . But when I checked the label of the image of the SquishMallows, it doesn’t show the special seal on the hangtag.
The rare SquishMallows have special seals. These rarity seals are indicators established by Kelly Toy (SquishMallow’s company) that the stuffed animal has very limited quantities existing in the whole world!
Below is one of the SquishMallows for sale online that I had seen with the title or description that says “RARE“! But it doesn’t have a special seal on the hangtag. The price is quite high. I am not really sure how the seller determined the rarity of the stuffed toy.
How do I know if the SquishMallow is a rare one!
If you find the special seal on the hangtag that means it’s a rare one.
Where and how to find the SquishMallows special rarity seal?
Once you see a SquishMallow in a store or online, first check the label or hangtag of the plushie to find the special seal.
How does the rarity special seal look like?
The rarity special seal usually has a round shape. In the middle of the seal there are initials of the name of the series. You will find it on the hangtag.

Rare SquishMallows Series in the Rarity Chart
The rare SquishMallows in the rarity chart have 6 series (category or level). Each series has its own unique seal.
1. SquishMallows RARE Series
What to look for: If you are looking for the RARE SquishMallows series, look for the shiny silver foil seal on the hangtag.
How many units exist?: In this RARE series there are only 75,000 of them available globally!
2. ULTRA RARE Series
What to look for: The ULTRA RARE series has a golden special seal on the hangtag.
How many units exist?: The ULTRA RARE series has 50,000 units existed globally.
3. SPECIAL EDITION Series
What to look for: In the SPECIAL EDITON series look for a holographic (shiny and colorful) special seal on the hangtag
How many units exist?: SPECIAL EDITION SquishMallows are extremely rare. There’s only a maximum of 20,000 in existence.
4. SELECT Series
What to look for: Look for Black special seal on the hangtag.
How many units exist? The Select Series has 10,000 pieces released. A very limited amount of new Select Series are being released each month.
5. CHECK-IN Series
What to look for: Look for the purple special seal on the hangtag of CHECK-IN Series.
Where they can be found: This series can only be found at select locations.
6. SquishMallows FOUNDERS EDITION
What to look for: You need to find a rare Founders Redemption Card hidden in a select few packs of Trading Cards. You use the code to redeem a special Founders Edition SquishMallow.
